"DED" launches merchant-mail program Department of Economic Development in Dubai, "the merchant-mail" program launched to license businesses that are managed through social networking sites by the citizens of the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation residing in Dubai Emirate Council. As explained, "Omar Bu Shehab," Chief Executive Officer of the Gaza registration and commercial licensing at DED, that the aim of this procedure is to protect the rights of all parties (merchants and consumers), and the preservation of intellectual property, and keep the trader for legal accountability or withhold its website. He pointed out that e-merchant license includes approximately 153 commercial activity, indicating that it can not open a shop license merchant-mail, and can not issue visas to the Registrar of the project. He added that there are a set of conditions to be met for those wishing to register electronic license, notably to be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates, or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and that of the residents of the Emirate of Dubai, and the age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years.
