Process Steps Please follow these steps: Submit the application for registration and documents required by hand to the reception desk. Receive a call from the consultant to schedule the initial interview. Visit the Khalifa Fund to meet the consultant and get a response. The required documents : - Original registration request - Valid passport picture - Valid digest picture - Summary of project image - Two personal photos - Statement of income and list of financial obligations and debts (if any) - Higher Education Certificate (if applicable) picture - Biography Picture Valid Emirates Identity Card picture Training Certificates - Commercial license issued by the Department of Economic Development Membership of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry - audited accounts for the last two years of project activity special conditions General Conditions: Applicants and partners must be UAE nationals. Applicants and partners must be adults who are 21 years of age. The applicant or partners can not obtain more than one loan. The project should not rely on unskilled labor. The number of commercial licenses issued on behalf of the applicant or partners shall not exceed 5 licenses at the time of submitting the application. The project shall be among the sectors approved by the Fund for financing. Funding Terms: The applicant or partners must contribute at least 10% of the total cost of the project. The applicant or partners have a good banking history. In case of any financial obligations or debts, the applicant or partners must provide evidence of the financial ability to settle the debt. Commitment of the applicant or partners to submit financial statements on project financing to all interested parties in the Fund. The applicant or partners successfully complete all training courses provided by the Fund (if necessary). Applicant or partners submit periodic financial statements on project performance to IFAD. Obtain the approval of the Executive Committee of the Khalifa Fund. The Fund reserves the right to request any additional information or material to ensure business continuity. The loan repayment period can be up to two years. The loan can be repaid within a period of up to 5 years from the date of signing the contract with the bank.
